St Paul’s Girls’ school is looking to appoint a Computer Science and Creative Technology (CSCT) Trainee Technician. You will be responsible for ensuring that all teaching staff have the equipment they have booked to teach lessons in the CSCT schemes of work. The trainee technician will support the CSCT technical support team to ensure management of equipment and resources according to the patterns and structures of the very busy department. They will ensure that computer labs and the maker space are kept tidy and organised. They will be part of a dynamic, purposeful, and passionate team who aim to provide the students with the best possible education in computer science and creative technology.

The trainee technician will work under supervision of the CSCT technical support team who will provide training in the systems and structure of the department. Training will also be provided in the use of appropriate tools and machines, as required. Full training in health and safety and working within a makerspace environment will be given.
