St Paul’s Girls’ school are seeking a proactive Theatre Technician who enjoys working with people while creating imaginative and exciting theatre. Enthusiasm, the ability to be proactive and work to deadlines as well as a clear awareness of professional discretion and confidentiality are also key requirements. A passion for and understanding of theatre is desirable. Flexibility is also required to help others during peak work periods.

The Drama Department at St Paul’s Girls' School is exciting and vibrant, and we are committed to producing high-quality productions. The Theatre Technician will be responsible for supporting all aspects of technical theatre, with a bias in either lighting and sound or set and props. This post presents an exciting opportunity to join and support the flourishing theatre department at one of the country’s leading independent schools. 

The successful candidate will be working with the Director of Drama, Theatre Manager and teaching staff, the role will involve all aspects of technical theatre. Closely working with the Theatre Manager and Costume Technician to provide seamless technical aspects to all St Paul’s Girls’ School productions.
